1.Audiovisual Equipment

We have a variety of equipment necessary for presentations.
Our operators will show you how to use them on the day of your event.
Video and audio recording of your event is possible.

2.Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment

Simultaneous interpreter booths are available in Buzz Hall, Science Hall, and Room 1.
Arrangements can be made for simultaneous interpreters.

3.Internet/Communication Environment

Wired and Wireless internet access are available in each conference room (free of charge). One LAN cable is equipped for each room.

4.Signage, Exhibition panels, Decorations, and Potted Flowers

Standing signboards, hanging signboards, guide signs, programs, exhibition panels, and potted flowers can be arranged.

5.Barrier-Free Facilities

Having eliminated floor level differences and featuring a wide interior spaces, our barrier-free facilities are easily accessible to elderly guests and individuals in wheelchairs.

6.Catering & Banquet

Snacks for breaks and (luncheon) meal vouchers for the restaurant on site are available, as well as beverages and boxed lunches.
Banquet menus can be arranged to suit your budget and the preferences of participants.

7.Attractions

Arrangements can be made for maiko (apprentice geiko) and performers of the koto (a Japanese stringed musical instrument) - Kyoto's signature attractions that are popular among foreign guests.

8.Temp Staff

Part-time Staff
Temp staff can be arranged to work at the registration desk, cloakroom, and as MCs.
Staff members proficient in foreign languages are also available.
Simultaneous Interpreters
Arrangements can be made for experienced conference interpreters.
Japanese <==> English, French, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Italian
Other Staff Members
Lighting operators, audio-visual equipment operators, camerapersons, and other expert staff members can also be arranged.

9.Parking Lot

Paid parking spaces are available (please understand that spaces may fill up quickly).

10.Parking for Shuttle Buses

Conference room users may park their shuttle buses in the designated spaces (reservation required, spaces available for a fee).

11.Partner Hotels

We can refer you to our partner hotels (special discount applied).
Shuttle buses to/from the hotels can be arranged (no hotel on the premises).

12.National Flag Raising Service [Free]

On days when international conference participants are present, we will raise the national flags of their countries on the poles outside of the buildings.

13.Kyoto Sightseeing Maps [Free]

We will order the number of Kyoto Sightseeing Maps (Japanese/English) you require from the Kyoto Convention Bureau.

14.Home Delivery Services

You can have your own items to use in our halls and conference rooms delivered to the venue via home delivery service. We are able to keep them until the conference day. Please arrange for delivery time within our business hours.
You may send your items after the conference is finished to a Japanese address (COD only).
(Items will be dispatched on the following business day.)

15.Copying, Faxing, Printing [Charged]

You can use the copiers, fax machines, and printers at the office of our Convention Department (2F, Building #1).
Copiers and fax machines can be installed in conference rooms for hire.
